Having worked in the construction and property industries for the majority of the last twenty years, the founder identified a need in the market for a "freelance" secretarial service to assist tradesmen who did not have the time or knowledge to keep their paperwork in order. Quality back office and accounting support is particularly crucial for small businesses in keeping cash and work flow as steady and consistent as possible.
Due to the high quality, efficient and flexible service Girl Friday offers, having initially helped a small number of small businesses and sole traders, our reputation quickly grew, as did our client base.
In 2013, Girl Friday underwent a re-branding exercise and Buzz Business Services was born! Buzz Business Services is now a thriving freelance business providing a book keeping, credit control, payroll and virtual assistant services for businesses, individuals and students, together with property management and inventory services for private Landlords and letting agents. Buzz also provides a “permanent temp” service to clients who need backup assistance on an ad hoc basis, but do not wish to use agencies and have to induct a newcomer on each separate occasion.
